3D Print Object Collaboration

Image
This is a process blog regarding the concepts, ideas, and executions of this collaborative 3D object print design. Here are each of our concepts that we made individually, each showcasing different elements and object compositions. Upon much discussion, we decided to aim for an object that incoporated both sharp, pointy elements with a secondary design for ellipses or rounded elements. We began experimenting. With these designs, we captured what we both wished, although there are some refining that we ought to do.  We ultimately settled for this one, an excellent combination of a symmetrical, rotational design with sharper elements. Papercraft Object; Final Process

Image
Here is my process for the final piece for the papercraft project.  A new, more optimized template has been created; in contrast to the prototype.  The template cut and cropped onto a large 22x28 lime green cardstock.   A 'screen' has been added behind the bezels, seen in the next few images. Overall object is being folded into shape.       The final, assembled object; a retro TV with bright, saturated colours.
